This policy explains how Australian Cosmetic Hub handles product refunds and returns. It does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Your consumer rights

Products sold to consumers come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. These include guarantees that the goods are of acceptable quality, match their description, and are fit for a disclosed purpose. If a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under that law. We do not exclude those rights. A product that fails because of a major problem may entitle you to a refund or replacement. A minor problem may be repaired, replaced, or refunded, as the law provides.

Change of mind

A change of mind is not the same as a consumer guarantee. We do not promise a change-of-mind refund. Skincare and cosmetic products can be hygiene-sensitive. If you have opened a product, a change-of-mind return will usually be refused, but that refusal does not apply where the Australian Consumer Law gives you a remedy, including where the product is faulty, damaged, or not as described. If a product is unused, unopened, and in its original condition, contact us and we will tell you whether a change-of-mind return can be accepted. Return postage for a change-of-mind return is your cost unless we agree otherwise.

What to do

Contact us promptly, before you send anything back. Email info@australiancosmetichub.com.au or phone 08 6363 5197. Tell us the order number, the product, and what is wrong. We may ask for proof of purchase and for photographs of the product and packaging. Do not ship a return until we have confirmed the address and the next step. Sending goods back without that confirmation can delay the remedy.

Refunds and shipping

Where a refund is due, we refund the product price to the original payment method where that is possible. If we are responsible for the return, we will also cover reasonable return shipping or arrange collection. Where the Australian Consumer Law requires it, a refund includes the original delivery charge. Refunds are started after we have inspected the returned goods, or sooner where the law requires a remedy without a return. Payment providers can take additional time to show the refund on your statement.
